From 2016 - 2018, Ryn’s practice shifted towards intuitive make making and process based work. She began to make in response to internal, personal experiences.

“First figure,” is a cyanotype from a hand drawing, scanned and printed on a transparency. Ryn continued this process, eventually drawing directly on transparency sheets to create hand drawn negatives.
